Austin Catering is seriously one of the best in the industry. I work for a venue in Austin, TX (Springdale Station), and they are our number one most recommended catering company. Their food is AMAZING – such a large variety of food options. But, most importantly – their service is outstanding. A lot of times couples/clients don’t know the importance of hiring companies with good service because it’s usually their first time doing it – good service is important because it sets the tone throughout the event. Things like not slamming the door during toasts, or always being professional around guests. I cannot speak highly enough about Austin Catering. They actually catered my wedding last year – which I think says a lot considering how many companies I work with. A perfect example of their amazing service: originally we had mac and cheese on the menu because it’s my favorite food, but we ended up swapping it out because it didn’t go with the rest of the meal. KD (the event manager) knew it was my favorite food, so she made sure they added it to my plate even though it was no longer on the menu. Don’t hesitate, reach out and do a tasting. Their food + service speaks for itself. Thank you Austin Catering team – Kristin, KD, and all of the amazing servers/chefs/bartenders – you’ve made working in this industry such a great experience.

The Best Wedding Food I’ve Ever Had
I had my wedding about two months ago, and still, to this day, I have guests calling or emailing me gushing about the food at my wedding. I continue to get the same comment over and over- “that was the best wedding food I’ve ever had” or “how did they possibly make 100 steaks cooked to perfection”? Honestly, working with Austin Catering was one of the best service-based experiences I’ve ever had . I can be quite a perfectionist, and their director of catering. Kristin Stephens, integrated my feedback throughout the planning process seamlessly. Their entire team is truly incredible, and I have to say, they made me feel like a queen given how many people obsessed about the food at our wedding. We selected the plated experience, which definitely was more expensive, but totally worth it in my mind. The food looked like art and tasted like magic! AND, to top it off. I had a friend who had extremely specific dietary restrictions. It was very important to me for her to be able to eat with everyone and enjoy herself – Austin Catering created a specific meal based on the 10 foods she could eat. It was so special and considerate. It not only blew me away, but really meant the world to her. I could probably rave about their team, the service, the overall experience, the food, for hours but I know no one has time to read that review. Sooo, to sum it up. If you do one thing-BOOK AUSTIN CATERING. They’re the best and you won’t regret it.

Best Wedding Food – Awsome Customization!
We hired Austin Catering for our 3/26/22 wedding and they were amazing!! They were able to tweak menu items to make them GF and worked with us and our planner to customize dishes. We did family style for our 50 person wedding and everyone told us this was the best food they had at a wedding!! They also provided our chasers, juices, and bartenders!

Oh my goodness – the guests are all still talking about the food! I don’t even know how to do Austin Catering justice with this review. I come from a very picky, food obsessed, Italian/New Yorker family and married a man whose family is also Italian, full of incredible cooks, and owns several restaurants themselves. The menu is completely created just for you. The hardest part of this was that our imagination and tastebuds couldn’t even dream up wriat Austin Catering made for us . We went for our tasting (which, by the way, is at an adorable location) and left adding about 15 more food options and desserts to the original already larger than appropriate menu. Really, everything was delicious, presentation was beautiful, and they did just an overallfantastic job. We couldn’t be happier with our choice! Thank you!

We hired Giselle with Austin Catering to do both our couples shower and our wedding. We were extremely impressed with the food! They were able to accommodate for >200 person wedding, and we received many compliments about the food from our guests. We used Austin Catering for our wedding and I am SO happy that we did! First off, KD was so accommodating to the (several) changes in our menu as well as dietary restrictions of our guests. We are so appreciative of her and her flexibility as we planned out our hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and late night snack for our big day! The food was delicious and the catering team was so attentive not only to our guests but us as well which we really appreciated. The timing of food service was quick and our guests only had amazing things to say. We also loved that staff came to find us with drinks and hors d’oeuvres after the ceremony, while we were taking photos, to ensure that we got to enjoy these as well. Knowing that the food and beverage service is the main thing every guest talks about after a wedding, the selection of a caterer for our daughter’s wedding was of paramount importance to us. We interviewed and scheduled tastings with several companies, and Austin Catering stood alone in several areas – price, taste, professionalism, quality of service and personal attention to detail. Kristin Stephens was delightful to work with. She kept in touch with us throughout our year of planning regarding every thought or concern we had; and during the week of our daughter’s wedding, we felt like her only clients – she returned phone calls and emails immediately, setting our minds at ease regarding every detail. If we had this wedding to plan over again, we would skip the other tastings and book Austin Catering right away. It was one of the best decisions we made.

Austin Catering provided all the food and rentals for our wedding. They did a fantastic job. Throughout the many months of working with them, they were exceptionally responsive and professional. We worked with Audrey, and together with her team, she helped us in countless ways, revising our contract maybe 20 times without a second thought. The wedding went off without a hitch, the food was truly delicious, and we never worried for a second that it would be any other way. On the food, we are real food snobs, and so are many of our guests, and everyone was impressed. We loved the family style service, it was flawlessly timed, and made the reception feel so warm and communal. Several people have reminisced on how good the salmon was, even a few weeks later! Austin Catering, and specifically Susan Higgins, was a joy to work with. Food was one of my top priorities at the wedding, and it turned out exactly as we hoped, if not better. We were going for a “His & Hers” theme, since I’m from Texas (and love Mexican food) and he’s from St. Louis; we wanted to represent both places in the menu. We received quite a few quotes for our reception dinner, and Susan sent back a menu that was exactly what we wanted at exactly the right price. When we made a request for something that they had never done before (toasted ravioli), she never balked, and the toasted ravioli turned out delicious! Even the St. Louis people, who tend to be snobs about their t-ravs, raved about how they turned out and about the food in general. Throughout the planning process, Susan was very quick to respond to any question or request I had and when we did the tasting a few months before the wedding, I knew we had made the right choice. The food at the wedding for 120 people tasted just as good as the tasting we did for 2. Their staff was very friendly and even made plates for my husband and I so that we could sit down and enjoy the food during dinner. And they sent us away with a to-go box that came in handy later that night. Susan came out to the wedding venue with us to do a walk through and was extremely helpful in more than just the catering aspects, especially since I didn’t have a wedding planner. I would highly recommend Austin Catering for their food, presentation, and service! I only wish I had eaten more of the food at the wedding!
